Lagoon Hospital opened in 1986 and started out as a provider of tertiary level healthcare services and preventive health screening facilities in a fee-for-service system targeted at the high-end market. The Hospital provides a full range of services: primary care, health assessment for executives, and specialist care-surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, ortorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, dermatology, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, physiotherapy, etc.

It has a 50-bed in-patient facility (1-bed, 2-bed, 3-bed and 4-bed rooms) with 3 operating theatres, an intensive care unit, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy and a large outpatient facility.

With about 25 consultants covering 20 different specialties and various modern diagnostic facilities, the hospital can provide for the most tertiary care needs.

    Complex surgical procedures such as brain surgery, spinal cord surgery and thoracic surgery are routinely performed while complex medical cases such as stroke (CVA), myocardial infarction (heart attack) and comatose conditions are effectively managed.
